Food is available at some neighborhood spots

If you're running out of food at home, and grocery stores seem likely to be both crowded (with people) and empty (of food), you might try one of the local spots that are opened and doing their best to serve the neighborhood.

After a week of being shut-in and shut-off from the community, we're getting power back and neighborhood restaurants are starting to open. In the short-term, a visit to one of these places may be an easier option than the grocery store, which has limited hours and limited options.

We've scoured Facebook pages of local joints to identify those that are open, and we've assembled a list. You'll find the list in the Reader (and you'll find a link in the footnotes below).
